In a note published on the social network Facebook, the IRA stressed that one of its teams went to the place where the animals were and spoke with the dogs' owner. "The first justification given referred to work schedules", wrote the IRA. Later, the dogs' owner stated that the animals' condition was due to the fact that one "attacked" the other "at feeding time.
"We are currently explaining that in environments where food is sufficient, animals do not fight for their survival", can be read in the publication. The IRA stressed that the behavior of canids "evidences the clear absence of food, just as the conditions where the animals are housed evidence the absence of drinking and well-being".
