Elderly man arrested in possession of "a shotgun and 580 rounds of ammunition" in Feira
The arrest of the 72-year-old man occurred following a complaint related to the crime of domestic violence.

A 72-year-old man was arrested on Monday afternoon in possession of illegal weapons in Santa Maria da Feira.
The arrest took place following "a complaint related to the crime of domestic violence", revealed the Public Security Police (PSP) in a statement.
The PSP officers went to the home of the suspect and his wife, aged 67, to investigate the facts.
Following the police action, it was possible to seize "a shotgun, as well as 580 rounds of ammunition, of different calibres, including 9 mm and 7.62 mm".
The man was arrested and will be presented to the Santa Maria da Feira Judicial Court to learn about the appropriate coercive measures.
