Lisbon area 'hit' by (heavy) hail. Here are the images
Ten districts in central and southern mainland Portugal were, on Saturday afternoon, under yellow warning.

After days of heat that invited the Portuguese to go to the beach, Saturday was marked by an unusual hailstorm in the Lisbon region.
The moment, which was recorded on video, reveals the heavy hailstorm that fell in the Alverca do Ribatejo area.
On social media, there were many unusual reactions to the hailstorm. Netizens also revealed that there was heavy hail in Bucelas and in the Vila Franca de Xira area.

It should be noted that ten districts in the centre and south of mainland Portugal were, on Saturday afternoon, under a yellow warning due to "sometimes heavy" rain, which could be hail and accompanied by thunderstorms, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).
The districts of Guarda, Santarém, Lisbon, Leiria, Castelo Branco and Coimbra were under a yellow warning until 6 pm. Évora, Setúbal, Beja and Portalegre were on alert until 9 pm.
