Fire Engulfs Pier in California, See Stunning Images

A fire consumed the Oceanside Pier in California, United States, on Thursday afternoon. A large cloud of smoke surrounded the site, forcing the intervention of firefighters and helicopters.
On the site, there was a restaurant that had been closed for three years. The authorities chose to let that building burn in order to save the rest.
According to NBC, the flames did not give up and the work to extinguish them was not easy, taking about two hours to get the fire under control.
The American authorities are now investigating to determine the causes of the fire.
