Toddler Drops Shoe Into Elephant Enclosure, Animal Returns It
The elephant was rewarded for its good behaviour.

An elephant was filmed returning a shoe to a child after it was dropped into its enclosure at Shendiaoshan Wild Animal Nature Reserve in Weihai, China.
According to the animal’s keepers, it initially thought the shoe was food. But after realizing it was just a piece of plastic, it decided to return it to its owner.
The kind gesture earned the elephant a treat, as its keeper rewarded it with a watermelon after the incident.
The elephant is called Shanmai, which means mountains in English.
