King Charles III and Camilla preside over grand ceremony. The details

Since returning to in-person public engagements, King Charles III has had a busy schedule.
Also this Wednesday, May 15, the sovereign and his wife, Queen Camilla, presided over the ceremony of the Order of the British Empire, which was attended by more than 2,000 guests.
The event took place at St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
The head of state and his companion appeared in the traditional pink satin robe and climbed the cathedral steps accompanied by a royal page.
On the left side of the costume, the monarch wore an eight-pointed silver star, created for the member of the Grand Cross.
The Order of the British Empire was created during the reign of George V in 1917, and its purpose is to honour the civil and military sides of society.
