Autoeuropa workers approve two-year labour deal
Autoeuropa workers approved today a two-year labor agreement, which guarantees salary increases of 6.8% in 2024 and 2.6% or 0.6% above inflation in 2025, with 61.5% of votes in favor.

According to the Workers' Commission (CT) of the Volkswagen factory in Palmela, in the district of Setúbal, there were 4,883 workers registered for the referendum, of which 2,476 (61.5%) voted in favor of the agreement, 1,526 (37.9%) against, with 857 abstentions (17.6%), 16 blank votes and eight null votes.
For the coordinator of the Workers' Commission, Rogério Nogueira, "this is one of the best agreements reached at Autoeuropa, where workers see their income increase significantly".
"It is an agreement that gives us stability, which is important to position the factory to receive a new car in the future", added Rogério Nogueira, congratulating himself on the "great participation in the referendum".
