Home Credit. Do you know how much you pay in early amortization commission?

If you have some money saved up and want to pay off your home loan, be aware that this year a special scheme is in force, and therefore you will not pay any early repayment fee.
"In 2024, home loans with variable rates will not pay any early repayment fee. If you have some savings set aside, and a home loan with a variable rate, this could be a good time to pay off the principal owed on your loan", explains DECO PROteste.
How much is normally paid?
As a rule, it should be noted, the "fee payable to the bank for early repayment is 0.5% for home loans with variable rates, i.e. five euros for every 1,000 euros repaid".
However, for home loans with fixed rates, this fee is 2%, i.e. 20 euros for every 1,000 euros repaid.
You should also be aware that there are no minimum amounts for repaying a home loan: "The repayment can be partial, in the amount you have available, or total."
"However, the higher the amount repaid, the lower the amount of interest to be paid and, consequently, the lower the monthly payment to be paid to the bank", it can be read.
