André Silva explains why he turned down a move to Saudi Arabia
Real Sociedad's Portuguese forward guarantees his desire to stay in Europe to be closer to the national team.

André Silva does not close the door to a possible move to Saudi Arabia, but for now he wants to stay in European football to be closer to the national team. In an interview with AS, the striker trained at FC Porto revealed that he had an approach last summer, but did not even want to hear what it was about.
"My agent told me about this possibility last year, but I didn't want to hear anything because I wanted to be in Europe, closer to the national team. In the future, you never know. Of the major European leagues, I only have England left. I returned to Spain because I have always been very attracted to it and the year I spent at Sevilla went very well, in the first phase", explained André Silva, continuing.
"It is a very strong league, with a lot of quality, where you learn a lot. I have already been through many leagues and this is the time to enjoy it. I would like to have a bit of stability. Until now, I have had a career with many adaptations and many changes", explained the 28-year-old Portuguese international, who has scored three goals in 23 games with Real Sociedad's jersey so far.
