The decision has been made. Oscar Bobb will remain in Manchester City's squad for next season after signing a long-term contract last February. Manchester City's officials admit that the young Norwegian may have limited space in Guardiola's squad, but they want to avoid, at all costs, a new 'Cole Palmer case', reveals the ManchesterWorld portal, this Wednesday.

With Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku, in addition to the possible signing of Savio, the paths to the starting eleven are largely blocked for Bobb. However, the current English champions will reject any type of departure because the situation of Cole Palmer, an English winger who left for Chelsea last summer and who has become one of the main figures in English football, is still fresh in their minds.

So far, Oscar Bobb has been used intermittently by Pep Guardiola, but he has already scored three goals and provided one assist in 25 games for Manchester City's first team. The 20-year-old forward also had a spell at FC Porto, but ended up not being able to play in Portugal due to the rules for the protection of minors imposed by FIFA.

Even so, Oscar Bobb surprised everyone in March of this year by giving an interview in... Portuguese.
