Enzo Fernández out for the 'boxes' until the end of the season
The former Benfica midfielder has undergone surgery.

Sent off after 68 minutes during the defeat against Arsenal on Tuesday night, Enzo Fernandez has bid farewell to this season. His injury is more serious than expected. Affected in the groin for more than a month, the Chelsea midfielder should end his season at the club.
The Blues will therefore have to do without the Argentinian world champion in the final stretch of the Premier League. The club announced the misfortune of the former Benfica player:
“Enzo Fernandez underwent successful surgery today on an adductor injury and will now begin a rehabilitation programme that is expected to keep him out until the end of Chelsea’s 2023/24 season. The 23-year-old will work closely with the club’s medical department during his rehabilitation at Cobham.”
