On April 25, 2014, a death shocked the whole of Barcelona: that of Tito Vilanova, who had been Pep Guardiola's assistant coach at the club and who had even won La Liga as head coach of the first team in 2012-13. And this Thursday, ten years after his death, Lionel Messi decided to remember him. “It's been 10 years, we don't forget you, Tito,” Messi wrote in his Instagram stories, along with a photograph in which he and Vilanova appear, who lost his life at the age of 45 after fighting cancer for more than two years. It is not the first time that Messi remembers Vilanova through his social networks. He has already done so on several occasions. The relationship between the two, it is worth remembering, was always very special due to the number of years they shared (from 2008 to 2013). With Vilanova, in La Liga, Barcelona added 100 points in an absolute record, in a year that was also a good memory for Messi - in 2012, he scored 91 goals in the calendar year. The two developed a strong bond on and off the pitch.
