"We don't expect to be fined by UEFA. There is no imminent danger"
Pinto da Costa spoke about alleged financial breaches in an interview with Porto Canal.

List A's financial dossier. "We have a financial plan that I will not reveal, because the last time I opened up a little bit the next day the CMVM suspended our shares for a day. At this moment they must all be watching, looking for a reason to suspend. We have a project in which we will, in three years, completely resolve the club. It is possible to do it. The plan that they gave me and what they told me... They told me yes."
Fair-play and eventual non-compliance. "There is no basis for that. FC Porto has already left the Financial Fair-play. We have complied with all our obligations, and we only had some delays due to legal actions by some businessmen during the electoral period, which forced us to divert funds destined for other payments to them. These delays resulted in about 10 to 12 days of delay in payments. We promptly informed UEFA about this situation. On March 31, we received a letter confirming that everything was in order and that we were authorized to compete in the next international competitions. There is no imminent danger. As for the reference to a possible fine... It is true that UEFA can apply fines to clubs for delays, but so far, we have not received any indication of this. I don't know where the others got that information from. Maybe the other list has people with knowledge about the subject, since they have an individual who was in the ECA... We admit the delays and communicated this to UEFA. However, we hope not to receive a fine. It is a possibility, but so far, we have not received anything. On March 31, everything was in compliance, and we can participate in the European competitions. That is the most important thing."
