Estoril crowned champion of the Revelação League and confirms dominance in the competition

The Estoril under-23 team was crowned national champion on Thursday after a 0-0 draw against Vizela on matchday 14 of the Liga Revelação championship qualifying phase. The canaries thus collect their third title in the competition in six editions.

The team from Linha knew that a draw in Vizela would be enough to confirm the title, even with Sporting lurking. However, the lions needed to beat Torreense, which ended up happening (1-0), and hope for an Estoril defeat.

After the math, Estoril finished this phase of the championship with 30 points, one more than Sporting.

Estoril thus returns to winning the under-23 national championship, after Estrela de Amadora was the champion last season. The canaries had already won in the 2021/22 and 2020/21 seasons.
