Tozé Marreco wants to "continue" the victorious debut in Gil Vicente
The Gil Vicente coach wants to continue his victorious debut in command of the team and add points in the reception on Friday against Arouca, of the 31st round of the Portuguese I League football.

"Victories and good performances are always important to regain confidence, but we have our feet on the ground and we know that this work must continue. That is the mentality for the four remaining games", said Tozé Marreco, in the preview of the match that opens the round.
In the last matchday, the 'roosters' returned to triumphs by beating Moreirense (1-0), but the coach warned that "each game has its own story", considering that this Arouca "is one of the best teams in the championship".
"It will be a very difficult game, against one of the best teams in this championship, which, like Moreirense, has a great organization, but I feel that we are once again prepared for this challenge, knowing how we have to defend and attack", he stressed.
Tozé Marreco analyzed that this Friday's opponent "has different characteristics" from Morereirense and praised the midfield and attack of the arouquenses.
"The four men up front have a lot of quality and we have to be at our best to stop them. The word I like most is organization, that's what we have to show again, with a lot of dedication, ambition and capacity for suffering", he added.
Asked if the fact that Arouca's coach, Daniel Sousa, has some advantage in this duel, because, last season, he coached the gilista squad and knows some of the players, Tozé Marreco undervalued the situation.
"Mister Daniel [Sousa] may know some details about our team, but he also knows that he will find a Gil Vicente with a lot of value and quality and that will create difficulties for him. In this age of information, we all know very well how our opponents play", he recalled.
The coach of the barcelense team was also confronted with the historical fact that Gil Vicente has never beaten Arouca, but he also undervalued it: "If we lacked something to motivate us to win this game, erasing this historical fact would be one more point for us to want to surpass ourselves. The important thing is to insist on our ideas".
The 'roosters' coach did not clarify whether central defender Rúben Fernandes has already recovered from injury, this being the only case in doubt in the squad.
Gil Vicente, 12th place, with 31 points, hosts Arouca on Friday, sixth, with 44, in a match scheduled for 8:15 pm, which will be refereed by Gustavo Correia, from the Porto Football Association.
