Pochettino furious with Chelsea humiliation: 'It's not acceptable'

Chelsea suffered, this Tuesday, what was the biggest humiliation of the entire season, after leaving the trip to the Emirates Stadium defeated, against Arsenal, by a resounding 5-0, a result that leaves them in ninth place in the Premier League.
After the final whistle, the blues coach, Mauricio Pochettino, confessed that "it is difficult to explain" the reasons for such a poor performance: "We started the first half very badly. We didn't show energy and we didn't compete, and in the second half, we started the same way".
"We didn't compete as a team, that's quite clear. We are inconsistent for several reasons. Starting the game the way we did is not acceptable, that's the problem", he said, in the quick interview area of the British radio talkSPORT.
"After 70 or 80 minutes, okay, you're tired and you don't have energy, but it was at the beginning of the game. The way we started is very painful, and I'm very disappointed, because if we want to compete, we have to show more energy and concentration", he continued.
"It's harmful to players, club, coaching staff... Everything. Everyone is harmed by this result, but the problem is to understand, before, when you're preparing for the game, if you want to compete. You have to understand that it's a London derby", he completed.
