"Figo was the toughest opponent I faced. He was very complete"
Former Spanish player recalls duels with the Portuguese forward who wore the Real Madrid and Barcelona jerseys.

The former Portuguese international, who wore the jersey of the two rivals, is still remembered in Spain and has not left the memory... of the opponents. This is the case of Juanfran, former Spanish international, who faced Figo on 13 occasions.
"For me, he was the most difficult player I had in front of me. He was a player who could go out on both sides. If you covered his best foot, he used his left foot. He was very good one-on-one and when he came out of it he had the right speed to get good crosses", Juanfran began by saying, in an interview with AS, continuing.
"He had so many resources that he could play both inside and outside. He was a very complete player. It was very complicated. Whenever we faced each other, we said everything. He knew that if I could, I would scratch him. But as soon as the game was over, we were the most cordial. We realized that each one was doing his job. Besides, we even exchanged shirts many times", revealed the former Spanish full-back who played for Ajax, Celta or Valencia.
It should be noted that the game between Real Madrid and Barcelona is scheduled for 8 pm this Sunday.
