Schmidt bets on two promises in Benfica's preparation for Marseille

Benfica held their final training session in preparation for their trip to the Olympique Marseille stronghold on Wednesday, just before their departure for France this afternoon.
Given the absences of Juan Bernat and Tomás Araújo due to injury, Roger Schmidt opted for Diogo Spencer and Adrian Bajrami in the Eagles' most recent training session, as could be seen during the 15 minutes in which the session was open to the press.
It should be recalled that Roger Schmidt made significant changes in the triumph over Moreirense (3-0), in the race for the leadership of I Liga - seven points behind the leader Sporting -, so more changes may be in sight in the next eleven, compared to the choices last Thursday, in the first leg of the Europa League 'quarterfinals', marked by the triumph (2-1) at Estádio da Luz.
It should be mentioned that the final duel in access to the Europa League 'semi-finals', to be played this Thursday at the Vélodrome, is scheduled to start at 8 pm (mainland Portugal time).
