Stuttgart's triumph was defined within the first 40 minutes of the match, with goals from Serhou Guirassy (11 minutes), Deniz Undav (17) and Jamie Leweling (37).

With this triumph, Stuttgart equaled Bayern Munich, who remain in second place thanks to a better goal difference, both with 63 points, a distant 13 from Bayer Leverkusen, who can celebrate their first German football title on Sunday if they beat Werder Bremen.

Despite the defeat, Eintracht Frankfurt remain in sixth place, which gives access to next season's Europa Conference League.

Earlier, the Bavarians had beaten Cologne 2-0, with the Portuguese Raphaël Guerreiro scoring the first goal of the game in the 65th minute, with Thomas Müller confirming Bayern's return to triumph in the 90+3rd minute, who had come from two defeats in the championship.
