Wendell reached the milestone of 100 matches with FC Porto's jersey last Sunday, in the defeat against Vitória SC (1-2), having praised, through a video released by the Dragons this Thursday, his mark in a "very big club in Europe and in the whole world" and also recalled the most recent Clássico against Benfica, with a 5-0 rout.

"I thank God for the opportunity to be in a big club, to be happy here and to reach this historic milestone in a club as big as FC Porto. It is a milestone in a very big club in Europe and in the whole world. I am grateful to God", he began by saying.

"Best moment? The last Clássico [5-0 against Benfica]. It was a historic match. We felt everything that FC Porto is. I also scored my goal. It is the most remarkable match", he added, in a match in which he also entered the scorers' list.

It is recalled that the Brazilian defender has been at FC Porto since 2021/22, when he left Bayer Leverkusen, having scored a total of seven goals and nine assists in 100 matches. This season alone, in 29 matches, he has contributed with four goals and three assists.
