The Maine Celtics entered the G League (the NBA's development league) final in the best possible way in the early hours of Wednesday to Thursday, when they hosted and beat the Oklahoma City Blue, 106-86.

A match for which Neemias Queta proved to be particularly important, adding 20 points (the second best record of the entire team, only surpassed by J.D. Davison's 23), 13 rebounds and three blocks, less than 24 hours after having signed a 'standard' contract with the Boston Celtics.

A performance that was closely followed by the general manager, Brad Stevens. Something that, the Portuguese international assumed, in statements made to the North American television station ESPN, after the final whistle, also 'weighed'.

"Undoubtedly. Brad is always on my side, helping me, letting me know what I was doing, and I just want to show up and make sure he knows he made the right decision", he said, now that he can be called up for the NBA playoffs.
