Caught with a machete in his car in Alcácer do Sal. He was detained by the GNR

A man was arrested on Tuesday by the National Republican Guard (GNR) after being caught driving a car with a katana in Alcácer do Sal.
The GNR reported, in a statement, that the military immediately went to the scene after receiving a complaint that a driver was driving a vehicle with a bladed weapon. When the military approached the suspect, 58, they found that he was in possession of a katana.
The guards arrested the man and seized the katana.
The detainee was constituted an accused and the facts were communicated to the Grândola Judicial Court.
