Marcelo "follows the situation" of Portuguese injured in Namibia
The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, presented his "deepest condolences" to the families of the two Portuguese women who died in the accident involving tourist buses.

The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, assured this Wednesday that he is "monitoring the situation of the compatriots injured in a traffic accident in the Namibian desert".
In a note published on the official website of the Presidency, Marcelo expressed his "deepest condolences" to the families of the two Portuguese women who died in the accident involving tourist buses.
It should be recalled that two Portuguese citizens died and several were injured this Wednesday in a collision between two buses 400 kilometres from the capital of Namibia, Windhoek.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Notícias ao Minuto that this was a "serious accident" involving a tourist bus that was carrying, among other nationalities, 22 Portuguese tourists.
There are also "several injured" among the Portuguese.
