Prosecutor accused of harassment by colleague was suspended from duties in Beja
The suspect, coordinating attorney of the Court of Beja, will be held accountable for crimes of persecution and defamation.

A prosecutor from the Public Ministry, accused of sexual harassment by a colleague, was preventively suspended from his duties last Thursday, according to the Jornal de Notícias.
"The disciplinary proceedings are underway", the Attorney General's Office told the same newspaper.
The suspect, coordinating prosecutor of the Beja District Court, will answer for crimes of stalking and defamation.
It is worth recalling that the case became known on April 19 of last year, after a complaint filed by the victim with the Regional Attorney General's Office of Évora, stating that she was being sexually harassed by her colleague.
The magistrate accused the prosecutor of sexual harassment, which allegedly took place over several months in the courthouse and later moved on to text messages.
