Youths arrested in Alcácer do Sal for shoplifting
One of the detainees, the driver of the vehicle, also committed the crime of driving without a legal license.

On April 18, the Setúbal National Republican Guard (GNR) arrested three men, aged between 21 and 22, in the act of stealing from a commercial establishment in Alcácer do Sal.
As part of an investigation into several thefts from commercial establishments, the three suspects were recognized by a Guard officer near a commercial establishment in Grândola. "Following the action, after the suspects left the scene in a vehicle, police actions were carried out to intercept them, and the Guard officers managed to approach them in the city of Alcácer do Sal", reads a statement to which the Notícias ao Minuto had access.
The three men were in possession of several stolen items from various commercial establishments, for which they were arrested. One of the detainees, the driver of the vehicle, was also charged with the crime of driving without a legal license.
The police action culminated in the arrest of the suspects and the seizure of a vehicle, 1,025 euros in cash and various food, cosmetic and computer products.
The detainees were charged and the facts were reported to the Grândola Judicial Court.
