A school in Wales is in partial lockdown following an alleged threat.
Ebbw Fawr Learning Community was placed in lockdown after a pupil received threatening messages, Sky News reports.
Gwent Police said the school was put on lockdown at around 10.20am on Friday. The person responsible for the messages has been arrested.
A teacher at the school said all pupils and staff had been advised to stay in their classrooms but that everyone was calm. A message was sent to parents informing them that the school was in partial lockdown.
However, by 1pm, pupils were allowed to leave and go home, with lessons not expected to resume until Monday, Wales Online reports.
It comes a day after three people - a pupil and two teachers - were injured in a knife attack at a secondary school in south Wales. The incident saw the school placed in lockdown for around four hours. A teenage girl has since been arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder.
