The heat already calls for a weekend barbecue with friends and family. It's something more typical of summer, but in spring it's already possible to combine. If you have a barbecue at home, there are some steps to take before adding meat and fish to the grill.

Make a very high first fire
"This first step is the most important. It is a way to clean and ensure that it is safe to cook. You should keep the temperature high for 15 to 20 minutes", says Dan Cooper, from the Weber brand.
Clean the grill
"Brush the grills with a special brush to remove any debris that may have remained."
Clean the inside of the barbecue
"Remove any ash or debris that may have remained. Remove the various internal components and clean them with detergent, for example."
Clean the exterior
"Use a brush and a microfiber cloth. Depending on the material, you can use specific products."
