You may think you bumped into something and don't remember, but the truth is that there are bruises that may indicate more than a simple fall or bump. In some cases, they may be related to types of cancer.
Hematologist Eunice Wang told the 'website' HealthDigest that some bruises may indicate leukemia, lymphomas, liver cancer or myeloma. In the case of leukemia, for example, bruises may be darker and irregularly shaped.
In relation to lymphomas, it is something identical to cases of leukemia. Low platelets show that the blood is not clotting as it should.
In addition to bruises, in the case of myeloma, you should be aware of pain in the bones, back and rib area. Liver cancer also leads to fewer clotting proteins in the body, which is reflected in bruises.
