Today is full of meaning and it is evident that celebrities also made a point of marking it. This Thursday, the 50th anniversary of April 25 is being celebrated, which led numerous public figures, from the early hours of the morning, to leave messages that highlight freedom and the differences in what can be done today that was previously unthinkable.

João Baião, for example, decided to share a video of one of the several fireworks displays that happened last night, having written in the caption: "April 25! Long Live Freedom".

Noémia Costa opted for a much longer text that recalls what she experienced on April 25, 1974, with her father entering the house and saying "we are free", in tears. "50 Years have passed, I was nine years old and of one thing I am CERTAIN: FASCISM NEVER AGAIN! Long live freedom, long live my country, Portugal!", the actress concluded.

'Pipoca Mais Doce' recalled verses by Sophia Mello Breyner. "This is the dawn that I was waiting for, the whole and clean initial day, where we emerge from the night and from the silence, and free we inhabit the substance of time", quoted the influencer.
