The month of April was marked with a separation within royalty. After 14 years of marriage, Nicolás of Greece and Tatiana Blatnik made a public statement in which they announced their divorce.
"Prince Nicolás and Princess Tatiana, after 14 years of living together, have decided to dissolve their marriage. Both recognize the difficulty of this decision, the deep appreciation and respect they have, and the love with which they have walked these years.
The same values of respect and understanding will form the basis of their relationship in the future, a relationship of deep and sincere friendship.
They will continue to live and work in Greece, a place that both feel is their home. The family will always be on their side. Thank you for your respect and discretion", reads the statement.
With this in mind, a question arises: Will Tatiana keep the title of Princess of Greece and Denmark?
As noted by the magazine Vanitatis, the answer is yes.
The title, it should be noted, was granted to her on the day of her wedding, on August 25, 2010. However, it is not known whether she will keep it if she remarries.
