Céline Dion on battling illness: "It's hard to live each day"
In an intimate and revealing interview, Céline Dion opened up about her ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome and her determination to one day return to the stage.  The 56-year-old singer spoke of the challenges she faces every day with the help of hope and resilience.  Asked by Vogue France about her return to the stage, the artist noted: "I can't answer that... Because for four years I've been saying to myself that I'm going to go back, that I'm ready, or that I'm not ready."

"It's morally difficult to live one day at a time. It's hard, I try hard and the next day it's even harder", she admits. "But there's one thing that will never end, which is the will. The passion. The dream. The determination", she assures.

Her weekly routine includes five days of physical, vocal and athletic therapy.  "At first I asked myself: why me? How did this happen? What did I do? Was it my fault?", she reflects.  "Life doesn't give you answers. You just have to live it! I have this disease for a reason that I don't know", she adds, noting that her goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again.
