Santander Totta calls bondholders' meeting to analyse mergers
Santander Totta has scheduled a bondholders' meeting for May 29, at which the merger by incorporation of the subsidiary TaxaGest and the majority shareholder Santander Totta SGPS will be discussed, it was announced to the market today.

According to the information sent to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the shareholders "must meet in a bondholders' meeting to express their opinion on the merger by incorporation of TaxaGest -- Sociedade Gestora de Participações, S.A. (...) and the merger by incorporation of Santander Totta -- SGPS, S.A. into Banco Santander Totta, S.A.".
The announcement comes after the approval of the respective merger projects by the Boards of Directors of the three entities, with the operations having been announced to the market on 18 March.
The bondholders are thus called upon to express their opinion "regarding the possible losses that may arise for the bondholders from the aforementioned mergers".
The bondholders' meeting is scheduled for 29 May, at 10:00, at the bank's premises on Rua da Mesquita, in Lisbon.
