The main European stock markets were up today, pending the presentation of more corporate results in Europe and the United States.

Tuesday's session saw widespread gains, both in Europe and the United States, where Wall Street closed in the green, in anticipation of results from large companies such as Tesla.

Although Tesla cut its first-quarter profit by 55%, the automaker's shares rose more than 13% in after-hours trading, due to its plan to manufacture cheaper cars.

In the US, a new wave of results will be released today, namely from Meta, while futures on major Wall Street indices are expected to open in the green.

On the macroeconomic front, the market will await the release of the Ifo business confidence index in Germany and the crude oil inventory report from the International Energy Agency (IEA).

The Brent oil barrel for June delivery opened higher today, trading at $88.49 on the Intercontinental Exchange Futures (ICE) in London, compared to $88.42 on Tuesday.

In terms of exchange rates, the euro opened lower on the Frankfurt foreign exchange market, trading at $1.0690, compared to $1.0700 in the previous session.
