Can Parents Take Time Off Work to Attend a Child's School Meeting?

Do you have a school meeting for your child scheduled and it's not compatible with your work schedule? This news is for you. According to DECO Proteste, guardians can be absent from work to participate in these events.
"Yes. The guardians of minors can miss work up to 4 hours per trimester", clarifies the consumer protection organization, in a publication shared on the social network Instagram.
As indicated by DECO PROteste, "these absences will be considered justified and do not imply loss of pay or any other right".
