Tokyo stock exchange opens with a 1.51% gain
The Tokyo Stock Exchange opened higher today, with the main index, the Nikkei, rising 1.51% to 38,119.66 points.

The second indicator, the Topix, gained 0.91% to 2,690.57 points, at the start of the session.
The Nikkei index reflects the unweighted average of the 225 main values of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, while the Topix indicator groups the values of the 1,600 largest listed companies.
