The Denver Nuggets took another step toward defending their NBA championship Monday night, beating the visiting Los Angeles Lakers 101-99 to take a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series.

The game at Ball Arena in Denver ended on a sour note, however, as video shared by TMZ showed Nikola Jokic's brother punching a fan seated courtside after an apparently heated verbal altercation.

After the punch was thrown by Strahinja, another of the Serbian star's brothers, Nemanja, ran over to help him, while Jokic's wife, Natalija, held their baby daughter and tried to shield her from the melee.

The outlet added that the NBA is investigating the incident and potential discipline is possible.
