Pinto da Costa targets AVB: "He would be the Vale e Azevedo in blue and white..."

Pinto da Costa targeted André Villas-Boas on Tuesday, in yet another campaign action by the current FC Porto president. In Arouca, the blue and white leader appeared accompanied by vice-presidents Vítor Baía and Vítor Hugo, in addition to António Oliveira, and left a 'barb' for another candidate on account of the Academy.
"The problem of the delay must be understood. The Academy will have 23 hectares. 14 were from the Maia City Council, 9 were from a private individual. Before negotiating with the council, we had to negotiate with the owner of the 9 hectares. With 14 it was not enough for what we wanted. When we were almost reaching an agreement and the aforementioned gentleman had maximum understanding and fairness, he became concerned when he saw that there was a candidate who said he would be the Vale e Azevedo in blue and white. He became concerned and I would too", began by saying Pinto da Costa, continuing.
"If I am making a deal with an entity whose possible future president will tear up the contracts... I told him that it was not for us, it was in the best interest of FC Porto and a value that we were responsible for paying. We recently made a purchase and sale promise contract. Otherwise, we would go to the Olival chicken coop. This was delayed, but today I say again definitively: everything is right, FC Porto will be able to start this week or early next week. Next week, or even this one, we will go there with the archaeologists, because the skeleton of some kangaroo may appear, we are authorized to authorize the works. And we will start them because this academy is not for me or for us. It is for the future of the young people who will be our stars", concluded the president of FC Porto and candidate for the elections on April 27th.
