Sporting de Braga returned to winning ways in the I Liga and triumphed, this Saturday, in the trip to Estoril (0-1), in a game counting for the 29th round of the competition.

After the surprising home defeat against Arouca in the last round, and after FC Porto's draw this Saturday afternoon with Famalicão, the club led by Rui Duarte knew that they had the chance to reach the Porto team on the podium.

But it was necessary to wait until the second half for Sporting de Braga to score the winning goal in the 64th minute. After a pass from Borja, Álvaro Djaló appeared free at the far post to sign what was Rui Duarte's first victory in charge of the Minho team.

After the math, and after this victory, Sporting de Braga caught up with FC Porto in third place, with both clubs having 59 points. Estoril is 13th with 29 points.
