"The Europa League is not a salvation, it is a goal for Benfica"

Florentino Luís refused, this Wednesday, in a press conference, to accept the theory that Benfica is looking at the Europa League as a way to 'save' the season, due to the large distance it already has for Sporting, in the I League.
"We still have possibilities. Mathematically, we can still win the championship, and we will believe until the end. Our focus is on tomorrow's game. We will look ahead. We will put our feet on the ground to achieve the best possible result, in the competition", began by saying the midfielder.
"I don't see it as a salvation, but as a goal. At the beginning of the season, we proposed to go as far as possible in the Europa League, and that is the path we are on. We are closer to the goal", he continued.
"We will look at this game to move on to the next phase. Winning this competition would be very good, but we have to take it easy. We are focused on tomorrow's game. Then, we will see what happens", he completed, on the eve of the reception to Marseille.
