Spring? Last weekend of April started... with snow. Well, well
Remember that the districts of Bragança, Viseu, Vila Real, Braga, Porto, Viana do Castelo, Guarda and Castelo Branco were under yellow warning until 9:00 am this Saturday, due to snowfall forecasts.

After a month that varied between hot days, which led many to the beach, and rain, April ended up surprising (even more) in several regions of the country... with snow.
It should be noted that the districts of Bragança, Viseu, Vila Real, Braga, Porto, Viana do Castelo, Guarda and Castelo Branco were under a yellow warning until 9:00 am this Saturday, due to forecasts of snowfall, informed the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).
The IPMA warned of forecasts of snowfall above 1,100 meters or 1,200 meters, depending on the district, also predicting snow accumulation varying between five centimeters and 10 centimeters.
In the middle of spring, it is possible to see, through the images on the 'Meteo Trás-os-Montes' page, on the Facebook social network, that it snowed in the Serra de Montemuro, located between the regions of Douro Litoral and Beira Alta.
In Penhas da Saúde, in the Beiras region and Serra da Estrela, images of snow were also recorded.
And the Serra do Larouco, in Montalegre, in the Alto Tâmega and Barroso region, was also painted 'white'.
