Do you feel like you can't relax? Do you spend your day anxious at work and at home? It's time to put simple relaxation techniques into practice in your daily life. Want some examples? Recently, Mind, an institution focused on mental health, quoted in the blog aggregator Huffpost, recommended some that help the body and brain relax.

Relaxation techniques that you really must try:

  • Take a break and enjoy doing something you like. You can read, try a new recipe, start a series or take a bath;
  • "Try active relaxation, such as taking a walk, yoga, Pilates or gentle stretching";
  • Take a few minutes to breathe deeply. "Try to keep your shoulders down and relaxed and place your hand on your stomach, which should rise as you inhale and fall as you exhale";
  • Be creative, but don't focus on the end result. Paint, draw, do crafts or play an instrument;
  • "Take a walk in a green space, if you can, and take note of the trees, plants and animals you see along the way";
  • Try to imagine yourself in a serene place;
  • Listen to your favourite music;
  • Turn off your mobile phone for an hour.
