Want to keep slugs out of the garden? Here's a budget-friendly solution

Are you always trying to keep your garden clean? Do you get mad when very uncomfortable pests like slugs appear? Good news! There is a simple and economical way to keep slugs away from your plants. Just reuse eggshells. Yes, you read that right.
According to pest experts Rentokil, quoted in the blog aggregator Huffpost, "crushed eggshells are a great home remedy for slugs".

Why? These nasty creatures "don't like to crawl over sharp objects, although it's not impossible for them to do so, they just prefer not to".
Want to give it a try? "Just collect some eggshells, crush them into small pieces and spread them around the flowers, plants, vegetables and fruits you want to keep safe from slug damage".
