West Ham and Liverpool registered a 2-2 draw early on Saturday afternoon, in a match that was marked by a heated discussion between Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp, about ten minutes before the final whistle.

The Egyptian international started the match on the bench, but when he was preparing to enter, he had an exchange of words with the German coach, to the point that Darwin Núñez, a former Benfica player, felt obliged to intervene to calm things down.

After the final whistle at the Olympic Stadium in London, the Reds coach was confronted in the quick interview area of the British television station TNT Sports about what had happened, but he chose not to elaborate on his comments.

"No [I can't clarify what happened], but we've already talked about it in the locker room. It's been dealt with," he said, before admitting that, in the light of this result, the race for the English league title has become much more complicated.

"I don't feel like talking about it, to be honest. We had to win here, we knew that, and we didn't. Now we have a little more time before the next game. We'll try to prepare the boys once again and get back on track," he added.
