As Olivier Giroud approaches his 38th birthday and the end of his contract with AC Milan in just over two months, he is preparing to embark on what will be the first 'adventure' of his long career outside of European football.

According to information reported on Wednesday by the American television network ESPN, the French international has already reached an agreement with Los Angeles FC, which will come into effect from mid-July, after he has finished participating in the European Championship.

The forward also had offers from Saudi Arabia, but he ended up opting for the United States of America, where a contract valid until December 2025 awaits him, with a salary of three million euros per season.

After spells at 'giants' such as Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan, Olivier Giroud will thus continue his career on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, where he will face Lionel Messi and company's Inter Miami.
