Athletic draws with Granada and adds third match in a row without winning
Athletic Bilbau drew today at home with Granada, with a score of one goal each, in the 32nd round of the Spanish football league, adding a third consecutive game without a win, which leaves it out of the Champions League qualifying positions.

The Basque team conceded a very early goal, after just six minutes, in an unfortunate play by their forward Iñaki Williams, who scored an own goal following a corner kick, when he was trying to clear the ball from his own area.
Athletic went in search of the equalizer and even succeeded in the 24th minute, when forward Gorka Guruzeta won a rebound in the area and put the two teams on equal footing, but was unable to reach the victory also due to the merit of Granada, thanks to their defensive cohesion.
It should be noted that the Basque team, which was having a great championship, wasted seven points in the last three rounds, with a defeat (2-0) at the Santiago Bernabéu, against Real Madrid, and home draws against Villarreal and Granada, both by one goal.
Who took advantage of this break in Athletic was Atlético de Madrid, who rose to fourth place, which gives access to the Champions League, relegating the Basques to fifth place.
Real Madrid, who will host FC Barcelona on Sunday, leads the championship with 78 points, followed by the Catalan team, with 70, Girona, with 65, Atlético de Madrid, with 61, and Athletic Bilbao, with 58 (one more game).
At the bottom of the table, Granada remains in penultimate place, in 19th, with 18 points, with Almeria being the last, with 14, and Cadiz the third to last, with 25, in the three relegation places.
