Nuno Lobo criticizes Pinto da Costa and Villas-Boas: "This buzz..."
FC Porto presidential candidate also stressed that he defended the scheduling of the elections, set for April 27, only after the end of the season.

Nuno Lobo gave an interview to the newspaper O Jogo, published in the print edition this Wednesday, about his candidacy for the presidency of FC Porto, ending up targeting the positions of Pinto da Costa (in office for 42 years) and André Villas-Boas (former coach) over the last few months, in view of the disturbances in the team's performance under Sérgio Conceição.
"I warned that the elections should be held after the end of the championship. What I feared happened. Sérgio [Conceição] corroborated with me last weekend. This buzz, this noise around the team... The players have ears, they have eyes and they feel this disunity that we have also witnessed at the Estádio do Dragão, since that fateful night of the General Assembly (...) Then, situations of vandalism at campaign headquarters. These constant quarrels that we have been witnessing between the candidacy of Pinto da Costa and André Villas-Boas. I don't identify with this", he said.
"I didn't run for office thinking about results. I ran with the same assumption that I defended in 2020. To serve FC Porto. That is the reason for my candidacy. To defend the interests of FC Porto. I'm not here for myself, for personal interests. Everything I advocated in 2020 I did not see being fulfilled during these four years, hence the reason for my candidacy", he added.
"There are two very mediatic and very bipolarized candidacies, forgetting a little that List C exists. I have this clear desire to win the elections. I know it's not easy, but I believe", he stressed.
It should be recalled that the electoral act of the dragons is scheduled for next April 27th.
