On Friday, Pinto da Costa presented the members of the "Todos pelo Porto" list who are candidates for the FC Porto social bodies. On the sidelines of this ceremony, the Porto president spoke about the project for the next four years, if he is elected this year.

Questioned about possible candidates for the presidency of FC Porto in 2028, Pinto da Costa recalled that André Villas-Boas, his opponent in the April 27 elections, has already assumed that he only intends to run this year.

"I would like to hand over to someone who feels the same passion for FC Porto as I do and who is capable of forming a team that is also equally passionate about FC Porto in order to do better than I have done over the years," Pinto da Costa stressed, before being confronted with the names of António Oliveira, Rui Moreira and André Villas-Boas.

"Obviously, if you are asking, you already know the answer. But I am not going to talk about it because there are four years to go and in four years it will be the members who will have to choose and the people who will have to be candidates. By chance, André Villas-Boas has already said that he is not a candidate in 4 years. For him, it is now or he goes back to the cars. Therefore, whoever it is, will certainly have my support. If I feel that he comes to FC Porto with passion and to serve FC Porto", he concluded.
