Carris reinforced the night service and access to the centre from Portela
Carris has reinforced the number of trips on the night network and the accesses to the centre of Lisbon from Portela in order to "provide a service that is increasingly close and adjusted to the needs of customers", the company announced today.

Therefore, on the early morning network, six routes started to make another trip from Cais do Sodré at 2:00 am, namely 201, 202, 206, 207, 208 and 210, indicated the road passenger transport company in a statement.
"With departure from the inverse terminal, four of these routes also guarantee another trip with the following times: 202 - 01:18 am, in Bairro Padre Cruz; 206 - 01:11 am, in Odivelas; 207 - 01:15 am, in Fetais and 208 - 01:00 am, in Estação Oriente", added Carris.
On the other hand, accessibility between Portela and the central areas of Lisbon was reinforced, "with some routes being extended and changes introduced in routes 722, 731 and 783".
With this change, route 722 is now called Restauradores - Portela (it is extended from Praça de Londres to Restauradores and in Portela to Rua Mouzinho Albuquerque), route 731 is called Av. José Malhoa - Portela (it now ends in Portela, instead of Moscavide) and 783 is called Amoreiras - Prior Velho (it now has its terminal in Prior Velho, no longer going to Portela), explained the company.
Carris also clarified that, with this latest change, the RALIS - Portela section is eliminated, which will now be guaranteed by routes 722 and 731.
