Planning a trip? Avoid wearing this one item of clothing on a plane

Do you tend to wear comfortable clothes when you fly? It might be time to rethink that habit. Travel writer Christine Negroni, quoted in The Sun, explained that leggings are not the best item of clothing to wear on a plane.
Why? They are usually made of synthetic fibers, which means that in the event of a crash and subsequent fire, they are more “likely to melt and stick to you.” She also revealed the best materials to wear on a plane: “cotton or anything made from natural fibers.”
She also advises that you always wear shoes during takeoff and landing. In the event of a crash, “the floor could be very hot or cold, covered in oil or on fire and you don’t want to be barefoot.”
