TVI reveals cast of series about Tony Carreira's life
'Tony' will have six episodes. The recordings have already started.

"Gabriel Conde will play the singer between the ages of six and 10, while Duarte Estrela will play the teenage version, until Carlos Félix takes on the role of the young adult", we can read in the press release that was issued in the meantime.
Bárbara Lourenço will play the role of Fernanda Antunes, Tony Carreira's ex-wife and the mother of his three children. "Duarte Grilo and Cleia Almeida are Tony's parents, Custódia Gallego and João Lagarto are his grandparents, and Miguel Bugalho will play his brother, José Antunes", concludes the note.
TVI also says that "the miniseries goes through the artist's journey from his childhood in Armadouro, where he faced hunger and poverty, to his years of immigration in France, the beginning of his career and the struggle for success, until his acclaim as one of the greatest Portuguese romantic singers".
'Tony', as the production will be called, will have four episodes and the recordings have already begun.
